Happy Birthday To Dave

Yesterday was Dave's 29th birthday. He kept saying all day long that this will be his last birthday that he will be in his twenties. So yesterday my sister gave us a gift certificate to Boon Docks. We first rode the bumper boats in which Dave maliciously soaked me. He had Kimball with him and we all had fun. After that we ate lunch, let Kimball play in the kiddie playground (Dave played in it with him :)), and played some video games. We had a blast and on the ride home we decided to drive the Alpine Loop and collect some leaves. It was beautiful, but still quite green. We were still able to collect leaves. Kimball slept most of the drive. By the time we reached Sun dance Kimball woke up so we decided to ride the ski lift to look at the leaves and mountains better. It was beautiful. Kimball loved it. I made Dave hold him cause I was terrified I would drop him, even though there was a bar across us. What can I say I am a worry wort. All in all we had a very nice day and it was the first time in a while we have spent an entire day together. Below are some of the pics from our day together. I forgot to take one of us on the bumper boats, but oh well.

I Am Back Baby!

Sorry I have been gone for so long. I have missed it. Things as usual have been a little crazy. At the end of July Dave lost his job. So for a bit we were crazy trying to find a new job and figure out insurance stuff. Then we had a family reunion. I started watching a little boy in our ward once a week. A couple of weeks ago my oldest sister Janean fell down her stairs with her baby. She messed her knee up pretty bad. I went down and helped her almost every day the week after. Then they operated on her knee and she needs to be off it for six weeks and she has five kids, and her husband works out of town until Friday. So now I go down 2-4 days a week. It has been fun visiting with her and seeing the kids. Kimball is enjoying playing with the kids. Anyway we have been running around like crazy. Not to mention they changed Dave's work schedule. They hired him on a 7a-3p shift but decided to give him a mixed up schedule. So he works some 7a-3ps, some 3p-10ps and some 4p-12a. So there you have it. I would like to try and at least blog once a week now and let everyone know what is going on. Well here are a few slide shows of some things we have been up to this summer.

This is the Tanner reunion we went to.

In July Dave surprised me and Kimball and took us to Bridal Veil falls. Kimball loved it. He is quite the water baby.

In August we just needed a brake and so we went camping with some of our dear friends the Salts. Kimball loved getting dirty and of course he finally got his way and was able to play in the water.

This is the little boy I watch on Tuesdays. He and Kimball have fun together, but they also fight over toys.
