So yesterday evening we had a visit by the missionaries. They sat down to show us a video on YouTube aboutthe government working toward a one world government. After visiting with them and watching the video Dave and I decided to e-mail it to some friends and family. Several of you who visited my blog probably got the e-mail. I want to start off by saying that I really don't know if everything about it is true. I do however, feel that there was at least some truth to it.
There are many today who would like to pretend that everything is hunky dory in our country. There are many people of the church who believe this as well. This I find interesting especially since it is revelation that our constitution and country will hang by a thread at the time of the second coming. So I myself take that as though we need to be prepared for anything and everything.
I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist but I am leary about many things going on in our country today. So I think that part of watching for the signs of the times is being up to date on everything on both sides of the spectrum. I am just saying be aware of things don't be too quick to shut them down until you have thought, pondered and prayed. After all, the most important relationship we can have during these hard times is with our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ, and our families. Oh, and a side note; Don't dwell on it, just be aware so you know what to watch for.

Annie-I am one that has always been shy. However, if you ask someone who knows me they wouldn't think that. Once a person takes the effort to get to know me I break out of my shell, and watch out. My husband is Mr. social and I have learned to socialize a little better. I love the out doors, especially the mountains. My most favorite thing to do is to hang out with my husband and son. I also love it when we visit other family. The most important things to me in my life are my religion and my family. I love to work hard; it gives me a sense of gratification. I love to laugh and I guess that is why I fell in love with my husband. He makes me laugh at least once a day. If you keep me up too late you might as well have druged me, becuase I get out of control. I may have said too much, but what can I say I am a bit of a spaz.

Just curious, why were the missionaries showing you an un-church related movie?
I agree, there are a lot of things going on in governments that are taking away our rights or that are morally wrong. Kind of scary sometimes to think of it all.
Not sure about that. I guess they saw it at a members house and said they had to share it with us.
Alicia had my first thought. (What are missionaries doing watching youtube?) Sorry, that's the strict rule-abider in me.
I haven't had a chance to watch that video. It actually froze up on me the other night, and I just haven't tried it again.
I will say that, YES! We must be educated and informed. Ignorance is NOT bliss, and apathy can lead to restricted personal liberties. We definitely live in a time when we must be informed and constantly questioning policy, legislation, and ideology.
I agree groddess.As far as the missionaries go, I guess their mission president is a little more lenient on things. Not really sure though. All I know is that they love David, a handful of them showed up, and they felt we needed to see it.
