I don't know why, but whenever I go shopping I get crazy. If I get accessories then it takes me forever to decide if I like it. I battle back and forth as to wether or not it will look stupid or stylish. I treat it alsmost as if it were a life altering decision.
I took everyone's advice and decided to buy a purse yesterday. I went with my cousin and friend Tammy. We shopped all day. Neither of us being able to decide on a purse. We both wanted something different and something that looked more stylish. We went to forever XXI, TJ Max, Ross, then to Target. I finally found one a target that I thought was cute. It was something I had never bought before. It was colorful and bright. Tammy went back to TJ Max and decided not to buy the purse she went back for. We made one last stop at Burlington Coat factory. It was there she found her perfect purse.
We went home. I started to change everything out into my new purse. However the more I looked at it the more something bothered me. Finally Dave came home and sneered at the purse I bought. Then my sister cam over and looked at it. She said it was cute in a hesitant voice. I asked what was it. She said it was nothing. It was cute, but it...... I finally burst out and said that it looked like a grandma purse! She said that was it. So after shpping all day I went back to Target and returned the purse. I made my sister come with me and help me pick one. I think I finally found one that I like. It is and orange rusty color and has a buckle on the front. You can see it above, but it doesn't show the color very well.
Aren't I crazy? I don't know why I treated it like such a big decision. I hope I am not the only one like this. Maybe this is why I don't like shopping very much. I do like this purse. It is just the right size to hold my stuff and stuff for Kimball, but it is not too big. it is also something I have never had before. Does anyone else out there like it?

I'm on an old computer with a not-so-great screen, but it seems cute to me.
Sometimes I like to make an informed decision when purchasing something, and I totally shop a zillion places before making a decision. I think in the end it makes you happier and more satisfied with the purchase (knowing what's out there and what average prices are etc....and knowing you made the best choice). But then again, other times I'm like "Great! I'll take it!" And I'm done dealing with it. Totally depends on the item I am shopping for.
Thanks Kristen. I think you are right. Makeing sure that you have looked at many options you feel much better knowing you picked the best one for the best price. Although I am like you at times and just take what is there to get it over with.

To be completely honest, I am an impulsive shopper. I buy things, even when I don't try them on. I always think that I will return them if I change my mind. So I wish I were more like you. I just hate shopping, trying things on, and then going back when I do decide I want it. In my case, the thing is gone by then. So I just decided to buy, then return later when I shop again....Of course the workers at the store hate me. Oh well! So bad, aren't I!

Hey Annie! I hope you don't mind that I found your blog. :) Truthfully, I have been occasionally checking Amy's blog to see if you are there so I could say hi to you! I saw that Tammy has a blog too but hers is private. I haven't read too much of your blog yet but I'm glad to see you have one! We must get together with Tammy too and go to the park this summer!
