100 Things about Me?! Hmmmm.....

OK I know I have kind of dropped off the blogging world for a little while, but I am back! Two weeks ago, as you know if you read my last post, I had to give a talk and it took me all week to prepare. It did go quite well. I was nervous; especially when Sun. morning I re-wrote half my talk. I was inspired in a different direction. I even went over my 20 min. which I never do. I kind of felt like I didn't give the talk. Anyway, I have had a hard time this last week because my sister-in-law tagged me with 100 things to say about myself. It has taken me this long to come up with them. I guess I could have posted about something else, but I had to take the time to write them all out first. So here goes nothing.

1.) One minute I could care less what anyone thinks about me and the next I'm paranoid about it. 2.) I am a freak about spiders. I hate them! 3.) I hate being alone. I will let my mind play tricks on itself. In fact there are times that I will just turn the TV on so I can have some noise while I am cleaning. 4.)Two of my most spiritual, joyful experiences were when I was kneeling across the alter to be sealed to my husband, and the birth of my baby. 5.) After nearly six years

of marriage I still miss Dave five minutes after he has left to go anywhere. 6.) No matter how crazy I am going with Kimball and need a break...I immediately miss him when I am away from him. 7.) I know that Kimball is here to teach me a lesson in Patience. 8.) I miss being in school. I don't miss taking tests, but I miss learning. 9.) I am a worry wort. My husband always compares me to my grandma Andrus, because she worries about everything. 10.) I love playing hostess at my house. 11.) I love it when family and friends feel like they can come over anytime. It makes me feel like they are comfortable in my home and that makes me happy. 12.) I sometimes get a little paranoid about what my in-laws think of me. 13.) When I learn something new I am way eager to teach someone else. However, I am usually behind and everyone already knew the fact. 14.) I am a very klutzy person. 15.) I absolutely
love my boys. I do however feel like I have two kids and not just one. 16.) This might sound petty, but sometimes I get a little sad when Dave talks of how much he hates Utah. I sometimes wish he would say how much he loves Utah, because it brought us together. 17.) I am a sucker for tickling. Dave knows he can pretty much get what he wants if he tickles my back. 18.) I love it when Dave takes me out to dinner. 19.) At one point on mine and Dave's first date I was the only girls out of six guys. The first two we were with never found dates and then we eventually made it over to his friends
where there were three additional guys. 20.) Also on our first date I walked into a parked car. 21.) No matter how many different ways I hear that it is done...I still absolutely love the way that Dave purposed to me. 22.) My favorite animal is probably a dolphin. One of my childhood dreams is to one day swim with one. 23.) I enjoy horse back riding. 24.) I've taught myself to play the piano..with a little help from my mom here and there. However I can't sight read, but I guess that comes with practice. 25.) I am too self-conscious to play music I wrote in front of people. I am afraid they will make fun of them.. Maybe that is why I never finish a song. 26.) I really enjoy blogging, but sometimes it takes me a while to think about what to blog about. 27.) I love to cook. However, I hate trying to decide what to make for dinner. 28.) I have the best in-laws. They are always so supportive
of our family. 29.) I absolutely love my brothers and sister. We are always there for each other and talk about everything. 30.)I love all my brothers and sisters-in-law. They all make me laugh and always set a good example for me. 31.) Nine times out of ten when people ask me who my hero is I tell them it is my mom. She is amazing. No matter how many curve balls are thrown her way and that knock her down, she always gets back up on her feet. She is such a good example to me and always lets her kids know that she loves them. She is always there for her kids and grand kids. 32.) When I was young and sucked my thumb I had to be rubbing something silky. Now when ever I wear something silky, or am near something silky I rub it subconsciously. my mom said that I am the only child of her seven that would reach up and rub her silk garments while she was breast feeding me. 33.) Growing up i always wanted to be a brunet. now that my hair is getting darker I miss my really blond hair. 34.) I love to swim, but I hate being seen in a swim suite. Even when I was skinny I hated it. 35.) I hate big
crowds. They stress me out. I try to stay away from really busy places on the weekend. 36.) Sometimes I wonder why I bother getting ready for the day. As soon as I do get ready Kimball spills something on me. 37.) I have zero tolerance for fits. 38.) One of my most favorite sounds in the world is the sound of my baby's laugh. 39.) I get excited to get up each day and see what new things my baby will do. 40.) I have the cutest most intelligent nieces and nephew (on both sides of the family) in the world. 41.) I absolutely love the feeling I get when I go to the temple. It is so peaceful. I sometimes wish I could go every day. 42.) I love family history stories. Dave's family has oodles of them. I wish I knew half of what I've learned about Dave's legacy than I know about mine. 43.) I hate debt. Dave and I get sick whenever we have any. However, I am also a firm believer in savings, but I also believe in a little fun and spontaneity. 44.) I am a leg jiggler. When sitting I can't sit completely still for too long. My leg
or foot start jiggling if I sit for too long. 45.) I enjoy sewing when I don't mess up.
46.) I usually have ideas for making great stuff at the last minute. I always think I can finish it. I usually don't, or if I do my mom has to come help me. 47.) I have a million unfinished projects. Dave makes fun of me for it and then he gets mad if I wasn't to start a new one. 48.) I can tend to be a perfectionist. It took me oh 6-7 years to finish making an Afghan for Dave. I kept doing it over and over and over again, because it wasn't perfect. 49.) I love to dance and to watch other people dance. Dave and I go to all of our stake dances. Kimball and I love to dance to music in the morning or just before he goes to bed. 50.) When I get nervous I tend to chew on my nails. This is a habit of mine that Dave absolutely hates. 51.) My favorite drink in the world is water. 52.) I have quite the temper and unfortunately Kimball has inherited it. 53.) Nothing makes me mad more quickly than when I can't figure something out on the computer. 54.) I am a time freak. I always have to know what time it is and yet I don't have a watch. 55.) I absolutely hate being late to anything. However, Dave is slowly teaching me to relax. 56.) Halloween is probably my least favorite holiday. Don't get me wrong...The candy thing is great, watching the babies get dressed up in costumes is great, and carving pumpkins is great fun. I know this sounds stupid; I just hate the whole vampire, zombie, monster thing. 57.) I hate horror movies. My friends loved trying to get me to watch them, because I made them more scary with all my screaming. I pretty much refuse to watch them anymore. 58.) There are movies that I think I would never watch, because they look too scary or just stupid. then along comes a person that has seen it comes along and tells me how good it is. I would still never watch it, but then they tell me the whole plot from start to finish and I think I just might be able to handle it and so I will watch it. For example, I saw the previews for the movie The Village and it looked too scary for me. Then my sister-in-law Hollie told me about it from start to finish. I then felt I could handle it, watched it, and loved it. 59.) I am a sucker for romance. In fact my favorite part of a
movie is when a couple kisses. It makes me mad if the love interest in the movie never kiss and all they do is hug (how lame is that). 60.) I love watching old movies. 61.) I am a big John Wayne fan. I am slowly starting to collect all of his films. I even got on the Internet and wrote down all the movies he's ever made. I cross them off as I collect them. 62.) My biggest book obsession right now is the Twilight series. I can hardly wait fro the next book to come out this year. Thanks Kristen for creating a new obsession for me. 63.) I love to travel. 64.) When I graduated from high school my friend and I decided to save up for a trip to Europe. The following summer we went with a tour group to England, France, Switzerland, and Italy. It was definitely a worth while experience. 65.) I have never been east of Utah; with the exception of Europe. 66.) Although I enjoy singing and so it every chance I get, I am still self conscious of whether I am good or not. I guess I just need to keep practicing. 67.) I am a member of the TWBC (The Tinsey Winsey Bladder Club). This was so named by my dad. The very person I inherited it from (Thanks a lot Dad). 68.) The more late I stay up the more silly I get. Some
have said that I could be mistaken for being drunk (who needs drugs0. 69.) I got my first ticket ever last Halloween (just one more reason to make it my least favorite holiday). I cried and cried. However, as odd as it may sound, I really enjoyed my traffic school class. 70.) I secretly do enjoy going on bug cruises with Dave. Once a month his VW club meets up, cruises and stops somewhere for dinner. I kind of miss going with Dave since he has started grad school. 71.) I enjoy going to car shows with my family. However, I have a hard time staying there all day. 72.) One of the things that freak me out the most is when I dream that someone dies. The reason behind this is that the night before my little brother died I had a dream that he drowned. Those of you who don't know, he had a seizure in the bath tub. 73.) I really enjoy working in the yard. I love yard work and gardening. 74.) One day when we buy a house I would like to find a house with a huge back yard for my kids to play in and for me to work in. 75.) I am a salt girl. I will always take chips over cookies. I have, however, started to like sweets more since I married Dave. 76.) Since we bought our new vacuum I love vacuuming. I only have to do it 3-4 times a day. 77.) I hate dusting. It is the one house chore I truly procrastinate. 78.) I have had my ears pierced since I was 12. I rarely ware earrings, but the crazy part is no matter how many year I have gone without earrings my holes never grow in. 79.) Recently I have been working really hard on not living in regret for things I have or haven't done. I would rather try to move on and just work harder and so better. 80.) I never
had wisdom teeth. In fact I am missing teeth that never even came in as baby teeth. 81.) I know most find it boring, but I enjoy fishing. I love the thrill of the catch and I enjoy visiting with whomever I am with while we wait. The only part I hate is eating and cleaning fish. I am probably more of a catch and release person. 82.) I truly enjoy camping and hiking. Being in or near the mountains and nature makes me feel more surrounded by God's great creations. 83.) I love the sound of fall leaves crunching under my feet. Dave's laughs, because I try to find leaves I can crunch. 84.) I love the silent sound of the snow falling. 85.) I love the different smells of each season. 86.) If I had to pick a favorite season it would probably be spring. It is not too hot, not too cold, and everything is coming to life. 87.) I love going on picnics when the weather is good. The food is good, the sun feels great, and it is just fun to play outside. 88.) I love playing in the rain, especially when it has been a warm day. Steam is coming up from the roads, my feet are bare, and the smell of it warms my heart. 88.) I love to watch my baby sleep. 89.) It bothers me when I am not the one to put Kimball to bed. This isn't because I don't trust anyone else. It is probably because it gives me closer for the night and It helps me not to miss him so much. 90.) I occasionally enjoy breaking out a coloring book and coloring. It sometimes relaxes me. 91.) Ever since I was a kid I have wanted to be some sort of teacher. I just don't know what I want to teach. So recently I have decided to try and become a speech pathologist. 92.) I am mostly a morning person. Dave has kind of changed that a little for me, because he is a night hawk. We laugh, because he used to be able to stay up so late and now he gets tired earlier. I used to get up early without a problem, but now am one of those that hit the alarm several times. I still feel that I can get more done if I start in the morning though. 93.) I am not much of a chopper, but when I find something I like I get excited and either use it or wear it the day I get it. 94.) As much fun as it is going out I sometimes just love vegging at home. 95.) My favorite things about holidays is spending time with family. I love going to dinner at Dave's parents and hear them all joke around. I love going to dinner at my families and visit and laugh about past memories. 96.) I have wanted six kids for some time. Now that I have one there are days where I still want that and days where I wonder if I even want another one. 97.) This sounds crazy, but one of my pet pieves is when Dave mixes in the big forks and the little ones. The little ones have to be on top of the big ones or I am bugged. 98.) I enjoy having girls night out once in a while, but mostly I want to do something that my family can be involved in as well. 99.) Christmas is probably my favorite holiday, because I love the spirit of giving. I love the lights and decorating the tree. I love all of the symbolism in everything. 100.) I love taking pictures, but I hate our camera. I am glad that we even have one, but it makes me so mad, because it doesn't take the picture I interned. It takes whatever movement happens in between the 4 flashes of light. I would have so many more awesome pictures if my camera would work right. That is the one downfall with our digital.

Well that was one long post and tag. It even took me a few days to type it, what with a kids and all. It was much harder than I thought to come up with all of this stuff. I hope you enjoyed learning what a nut case I am. So now it is my turn to tag people. I choose to tag Krystell, Tammy, Amy (if she ever visit my blog again LOL) and Christine. Good luck all. I will enjoy reading you tag.

So, are you trying to get some brownie points with us in-laws? ;-)

Re Twilight: You are totally welcome. So glad I could get you obsessed over Edward; I'm sure Dave appreciates it, too. But hey, he has his bug infatuation.

Not at all. I am completely honest. If I didn't mean it I wouldn't have wrote it.

Yeah Dave hated how obsessed I am with the book. He laughs at me all the time.

To cute! I love your pics with your facts...We have so much in common! Dolphins, I use to ask for a big swimming pool in our yard, so that I could have a pet dolphin...I never thought it would be impossible! The silky thing, hilarious! I get quite embarrassed about it actually. And I forgot how Dave proposed? You will have to blog it. And regarding Twilight, I am excited to, but I was totally disappointed in Eclipse. And I do have to admit, I am a Jacob fan over Edward. I know, I know, I don't know what it is, maybe the fact that he is real that is the attractive point. ;0) I will try, but I don't think there are 100 things about me...hmmm.

Krystell- There are 100 things about you. Don't worry, it took me a while to do it.

You are a Jacob fan? What if he were to meet his real mate (hmmm... I forgot the word they used in the book) and then she would be left in the dust?! That is OK I forgive you LOL.

I awlays wanted a pool too with a pet dolphin. We truly are meant to be friends.
