Dave and I have been wanting to go out of town for sometime. We called my dad the week before and asked if we could come visit. He said that would be great. We were way excited. My sister Sher's husband was going to Colorado this weekend and so she asked if she could come. Well as this last week started to come to a close Dave said he couldn't go anymore. He had a paper he needed to work on, a meeting with his class group on Sat. and a whole bunch of calling stuff he needed to get done this Sunday. I was way sad that he couldn't come, but Sheri and I decided to go any way since neither of us would really see our husbands. We left early Friday and drove home Sun. in that nasty snow storm. I am happy we made it safe.
Kimball absolutely loved playing with dad and Kathryn's cats. He started to have a rough time traveling that far, but we made it. We had so much fun. Dad and Kathryn showed us this small, old Ghost town. It was left behind by the pioneers. They are still in the process of restoring some of it. If you go down the road where we were it is where they filmed part of Buch Cassidy and the Sun Dance Kid. We had lots of fun exploring the ghost town.
After the ghost town we went through Zion. We just had a nice drive through it. We didn't really get out to ride the buses. We just took a few pictures on the side of the road, but it was nice, We went shopping and out to dinner while we were there. Dad was a good sport and played with Kimball and kept track of him while the girls shopped. They had lots of fun together. Needless to say we had a great time. We are glad to be home and Kimball is glad to sleep in his own bed. Thanks Dad and Kathryn for showing us a fun time. We will do it again soon, but with our husbands next time.

Hey, thanks for the comment! I need to be better and comment back- on my blog. Anyhow, I haven't seen Tammy's blog because she hasn't invited me to view her private blog. :( You can pass that on to her. :) That is so exciting that she is having a girl!
No problem. I like to comment back. I feel like I am having more of a conversation. I will pass the word along and get her to invite you. I can't remember if she is private or not. Did you try to visit it through my blog?
