Easter

Happy Easter Everyon. I hope that everyone had a fun Easter. Here is a slide show showing some of the stuff that we did. We had two activities on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Saturday we started out at Dave's Grandma Stone's house. We had luch and then went on an Easter egg hunt. Kimball was lots of fun to watch. He banged the eggs together and of course tapped them on his chin.

After we finished at Dave's grandma's Kimball went down for a nap and then we went over to my sister's house for another Egg hunt and dinner. That was a blast. Before dinner we went out to look at my little brother Matt's new Motor cycle. He let Dave ride it around the neighborhood for a while. Meantime some of us hid the eggs. When Dave got back matt took my mom for a ride and then we did the hunt. The kids had lots of fun. In fact I had to beg the boys to stand still for a picture. Janean bought each of the kids a toy they had to find with their name on it. She is so cute. Kimball got a thing of a barrell of monkies. Later Paige and Maisey wanted pictures of them doing tricks on the tramp. We had a delicious dinner and visited. It was lots of fun. On Sunday we went to Dave's parents to eat dinner. It was yummy. We then hung around and visited in the basement. I only wish that I had Dave's dad read us the story of Easter. That would have made the perfect touch to our easter. I love the Savior and am grateful for everything he has given us. I love celebrating his Ressurection.

I must say that I still don't understand what the whole Easter bunny thing is about. I had a hard time with it as a kid as well. Where did the bunny come from? Why a bunny? can anyone explain this to me? I think I will skip the whole bunny thing and stick to the eggs and the story of the Ressurection.

Cute slide show. I love how Kimball bangs things together.

Hmmm, I recently heard that bunnies represent rebirth and spring or something. (Maybe because they can reproduce like crazy).

So, no Santa Claus and no Easter bunny; is there going to be a toothfairy?

tannerstory-we missed youtoo. thanks for the compliment.

Kristen- I am still in limbo about Santa, but I am pretty sire about the Easter bunny. I have no problem with imagination so I probably will do the tooth fairy. I guess the other two bug me when compard to Christ. I guess I feel that there are times when Christ is forgotten in these tow holidays.

the whole bunny info is interesting. I have never heard that. I new that the egg represented rebirth, but the bunny has always confused me.
